So, does Ealy sign with us Wednesday?

Do we drink the "Anna Koolaid" (and others) about Ealy signing with the Tigers? It seems to be headed that way, but there have been disappointments before.
I hope he does come to CU. If so, I think pro baseball becomes less of a possibility than if he signs with somebody else. I can see him, once here, wanting the CU college experience - buying into Clemson and becoming a great football/baseball player, student and a happier more successful person than if he signs somewhere else.
Guess we'll know in one more day.

He is a lock to go in the 1st round in the MLB and has stated that he prefers baseball to football. He'll be paid millions in June to take his talent to the minors and we'll never see him play a down.

I agree, would be nice addition to our backfield but will go baseball route. Are we still working the back from Maryland? He was ranked as one of top 5 backs in this cycle.

competition in our backfield right now. Plus the #1 RB recruit next year is flirting with us as well. Right now he'd be facing competition with Etienne, Feaster, LynJ, Melusi, and i'm forgetting another. So he may get decent playing time in a couple years...? If you commit to ole miss..you play the majority of the snaps THIS season. The fact that he's even considering them tells me thats probably what the draw is. Immediate PT.

IF he were to sign with Clemson, as a sophomore he would be in a competition with Dixon, Mellusi, Dukes, and whatever freshmen sign in the 2020 class.
That's a pretty good deal for an incoming player. He is a somewhat different runner than Dixon and I'm sure the staff has sold him on the sharing of carries.
Sharing carries could be something he is very interested in since MLB will be hanging over his head as a pay day the entire time he is in college.
I don't have a clue what he is thinking in terms of where he will sign or if he has made up his mind about baseball.
If it were me, if I had the chance to be a millionaire in baseball in a couple of years, I wouldn't want 25-30 carries a game for a .500 football team.
