Since the powers that be are all of a sudden concerned about

Aug 11, 2020, 5:19 PM

players’ health and safety, how does that effect typical football injuries and even other non-Covid related sicknesses? It’s obvious these decisions are liability based under the disguise of player health and safety. They haven’t been worried enough to cancel a football season due the the potential for concussions or the long term effects, torn ACLs, or even cases of paralysis, all of which are assumed to be “part of football”. How are any of those any different than COVID?

If any players/coaches/staff have the option to opt out without any punishment why should the rest have to sit?

Why is playing sports any more dangerous than allowing the students on campus at all?

All these contradictions are what make this situation so frustrating.

Most injuries aren’t contagious. All viruses are!

They have always been contagious, haven’t canceled a season

before. Do we not play any sports till there is a vaccine? What if there is never a vaccine? You can get a flu shot but still get the flu.
