RIP John Saunders

I watched the Sports Reporters and you navigated that show very well. Lots of insight was given by you. You weren't biased on the SEC but you gave fair credit where credit was due. You also raised questions where they needed to be raised properly. Will be missed.

I love watching The Sports Reporters. Saunders seemed like a stand up dude. He was one of my favorite "on air" guys at ESPN.

Gonna be missed

Indeed. He was a real pro.

I remember watching him years ago doing updates during the first 2 days of March Madness. This was back when ESPN had the first 2 days, and games were on their properties constantly. Unlike now, where there are up to 4 channels going at once, ESPN had all games and would cut in & out very quickly. I could have sworn John Saunders was mainlining coffee or something stronger, because he put in a lot of work!

You could tell he loved the work, particularly since he never seemed to want to make the story about him. He was the messenger and perhaps an someone to lead questions on certain topics.

I really enjoyed is studio work on College Football. RIP.

When I heard his voice, I got excited because I knew it was time for some college football. He sure will be missed.
