every time I see his last name I think of good old Raymond. I really enjoyed him and his running style

Raymond is my all time favorite Clemson RB

Jan 19, 2013, 6:06 PM

There was just something about him where you knew he was going to get the yards you needed every time he touched the ball.

Not to be gloomy but is this a commitment or just a comment. With how kids are today words mean very little.

That's what I'm talkin about! Seems legit, he's been tweeting all day about it! Just look at his Twitter, the guy loves the atmosphere.

Stop wasting scholarships...

Jan 19, 2013, 6:30 PM

We don't need any more WRs. O-line and D-line are the spots that need to be filled.

Disappointing...

What are you thinking? We need a lot of guys at WR and DE.

A good DE out of HS is an athlete and we need and are recruiting a lot of them. Many HS DEs continue to put on weight and can become OTs and DTs. If they do and keep trim, they're likely more agile, mobile and hostile than you get with an older HS OT or DT.

If you go back and look at the LSU linemen - and many of the SEC linemen, they have quite a belly - good for leaning into opposing linemen, but they wear down easily in a fast tempo - as shown in the LSU game.

We need athletes in ALL line positions - just big ones.

he's fast, with a quick move on the curl. He has good hands. He has a good stutter step when approaching tacklers and isn't afraid to block and from what I see on his 2011 video, does a dang good job of blocking and sticking to his block.

I like him!

So you're saying...

Jan 19, 2013, 6:43 PM [ in reply to Stop wasting scholarships... ]

with the loss of Nuk, and the decommitments of Jenkins and Robinson, and the almost certain possibility of Sammy leaving after next season, that we shouldn't be going after any wide receivers, when a lot of depth is very necessary at that position?

While I do agree we should have taken more O-linemen this cycle, I think it is almost a necessity to get this guy and maybe James Clark.

I bet you join T-Net to state what we need without a clue of what Clemson needs.

Jan 20, 2013, 8:13 PM

I understand and appreciate the optimism some of you show towards new recruits, but let's use some reason here. I'm not knocking Priester, I'm sure he's just a fine WR, but we do not need spots in that position right now. Plain and simple. Recruit DE, DT, and OT this year. Pick up some more WRs next. We have too many WRs as it is...
