Potters KOs

Nov 4, 2018, 12:49 PM

Were unusually short yesterday. Wonder if it was intentional so we could work on coverage? What do you think? Go Tigers!!!!

Would ask this question of the coaches.

Was it intentional or is Potter's leg getting late season tired.

I watched him many times knock it into the end zone. And this was on cold Friday nights; let alone beautiful Saturday afternoons! They surely asked him to kick it short so they could work on coverage. Or he is hurt!

I was wondering what the deal was with the kickoffs as well. Was it the colder air, a tired leg, or on purpose to work on coverage (which we obviously need to put some work in after the return we saw yesterday). Definitely prefer the opposition starting on the 25 every time versus giving them the chance of breaking off a long return.

Hey davidhood® !!

INQUIRING MINDS would like to know the answer to Potter’s recent tendency to ‘not kick it out of the end zone’ lately?!

With the dew point marginalized due to ionosphere rebounding atmospheric pressure, we can assume the ball’s pressure was inversely related to the relative conditions. Thus, the hyperbolic trajectory of the ball was shortened.

Potter did not kick off on run back for TD. Our biggest weakness is punter! That short punt contributed to Terrell’s targeting.

Perhaps the Clemson staff accidentally used one of those 'Tom Brady' PSI gauges?
