Playoff rant

I still don't get the argument of close losses in conference championship games making it in the playoff, it is a defacto playoff game, you lose you're out, just my 2 cents.

in our case with notre dame we both would have shared

But you just lost, to me they are extensions of the playoff especially this year with no divisions best 2 teams play you lose, its done, best team doesn't always win in playoff games thats why the games are played otherwise results don't matter, I don't want to see Clemson vs Notre Dame again in the playoffs as well as I don't want to see FL vs AL a second time in playoff after they just played in championship game

If you lose to a top 4 team in a conference championship game by 3 points you should stay in the top 4. Now if you get blown out you shouldn’t make it In.

Agreed

But a minimum number of conference games have to be played too. If a team (*ucknuts for example) win their conference by winning only 5 games and then a team that losses their conference championship game (ND) but played at least 8 conference games, maybe the team that played more conference games should get picked over the 'nuts.
