If we are going to make the playoff, our offense is going to have play 4 quarters. We seem to get an early lead & lose urgency most every game.

I’m pretty sure that is what we would do if we didn’t have a 2 touchdown plus lead at halftime. Not a bad idea to get our reserves some game time and not call as many quarterback runs when we have that big lead.

I sense that if any game is close enough, the starters will not be coming out and KB, Christian, Dabo, BV and company will keep their feet on the pedal. Many games have seen the Tigers comfortably ahead in the late going. When it's close (vs Auburn, BC and Syracuse) the starters do not come out.

Totally Agree! The offense sputters almost every game in the second half... And don't tell me they aren't trying as hard because they have the lead. They are trying, but fail to convert almost ALL their 3th downs. That tendency could kill them in a hard fought game with a quality team. The coaches should be preparing the team to play consistent 4 quarters football by finding out WHY they sputter. I think that they MUST start hitting the 10+ yards throws and not so many of the short routes... They leave us a yard or so short in many of their series. What would we have thought last year if Watson would have played great in the 1st half, yet couldn't finish in the 2nd... WE WOULD HAVE LOST a number of games that required Watson to come forth as the closer he was.
