New Offense Scheme Under Elliot and Scott...

We no longer run the HUNH zone read. The Chad Morris system is completely gone. Remember the days of Boyd running 15-20 times smash mouth style. Remember the jet sweeps to Scott vs. USC. Even last year down the stretch Watson had 15 carries using the zone read. This has had an impact on Gallman and our running game. I am not sure if they have abandoned the scheme to protect Watson from injury or if this is our new system. For us to be successful down the stretch Gallman and Watson are going to have to run the football. Opposing D's have no fear of Watson running the football and are ganging up Gallman.

We are what we are at this point. I do not see us being able to run the ball consistently this year. Hence why those 2 last play call were god awful. We have to go to more of a pass oriented offense and mix in the run to keep the D honest.

Too many east/west passes and not north/south where the end zone is located. Abandoned any stop and go passes and completely ignored the long pass. Shameful!

this AM...we should be belly aching about the defense.

Any criticism of the offense seems absurd to me...630 freaking yards. We never did that under Chad Morris....

I agree. Why did that pass 500 times in a row then on 3rd and 4th down decide to run the ball. DW4 was feeling it and should have passed for the 1st down. Mind boggling. But Clemson wins out we in playoffs. Enough said.
