Louisville Ref Complaints

I'm sorry. Yes, there were some questionable calls/ no calls against Louisville. However, I can't tell you how many blatant offensive holding calls against our DL I saw. And some PI against them that wasn't called either. You can't blame the refs for your loss. You forced 5 TOs and still came out with the L. Take it like a man and go home with your head held high. Don't try and blame the refs.

Questionable calls???
Oct 2, 2016, 11:19 AM

That's pretty much the case in every close college football game you watch. Usually it's the losing team that whines about it. Last night, their head whiner and head coach Petrino did like he always did when he lost big games at Arkansas. Blame it on refs, etc. so when you say "I'm sorry, but...." I don't believe that's necessary, in fact they got as many calls as we got. It's called football.

Definitely. I saw some jersey tugging on passes, but no more than normal. It is what it is.

My experience with Lville fans is that the refs lost the game for them. Clemson didn't beat them. The inbreeding is strong there in Kentucky.

here's the facts cardinal fan: You got beat by a bigger, stronger team that has heart and character and DISCIPLINE which is totally lacking in your program thanks to the antics of the Motorcycle Man! Until you get a coach who understand the first words in my reply, you aren't going anywhere. Got some nice talent but fact is TEAMS win not individual talents.

Discipline? Actually strangling a player during a pile up is what you call discipline?

Its called football. And preventing the opponent from reaching further with the ball. As soon as the whistle is heard he let go.

Yeah there were missed calls all over. If we had lost, we would be highlighting them just as much as UL fans arent right now. Im not holding that against them.

Couple of other missed calls

at least should have been reviewed...
Mike Williams heckuva apparent catch for a first down called as an incompletion on the field. Mike signaled to the coaches that he caught it, but the replay booth was asleep at the wheel and the coaches decided to punt instead of challenging it.
Artavis Scott's touchdown in the west endzone ended with an apparent targeting no-call. Seemed obvious from my vantage point the DB launched into a helmet to helmet collision and I had the same opinion when they showed the replay on the big screen.

The Scott TD did not seem to be targeting as I watched on TV. Could have been but did not stand out to me.

The ACC in particular hardly ever calls offensive holding anymore. Other conferences call it more, and the NFL calls it way too much. Should just make OL guys wear mittens.

Did the rest of you notice Louisville going for Deshaun's legs? We were noticing that in our section. Louisville is the biggest bunch of whiners I've ever seen in 45 years of watching football and the governor is ridiculous! What an immature guy!

Lville fans are newbies in the ACC. You have only been in the conference for five minutes so you haven't been around long enough to understand the pecking order. Clemson's is not the "Darling" of the conference and historically gets jobbed at every opportunity. I wish you were in the division with the tarholes and you could experience this first hand each year.
