This debate has long since been exhausted. The Heisman is antiquated and needs to change the time period of the season in which they vote, the conditions on which they vote, and better police the people they let vote.
Clemson may have had a good player also. One who proved it over multiple seasons and won the ultimate prize. Don't know if you've ever heard of him?
But, glad to know you defend Louisville...

He also didn't try to win football games against CU , Houston or the UK .
When it got right down to it , his fantastic performance vs FSU in a blowout win pretty much assured his midseason Heisman win .

Dude had a fantastic game against us.
I think no other game more so than the Clemson one helped him win. He owned Clemson for much of the game.

5 turnovers is the only thing that kept that game close. Lavar had a good game, but owned us? Don't think so.

Hey coot, the better team and QB won in spite of giving Lamar 5 additional chances! Watson won head to head against Lamar. Clemson beat Louisville, won the ACC and the Natty. Lazy and premature voters gave the H to Lamar.

Does he finally have an arm to match his mouth? I doubt it. Toss his weak OLine out of the way and take away his run game. He cannot beat you with just his arm. That's why I appreciated having the best player the country in CLEMSON the last three years.

Amazing that one team could have two QB.s winning the Heisman with very similar names. I saw Lamar play several times and he is pretty good. Lavar must be the backup.
