Is this no longer in our play book? It was a beautiful play to keep the linebackers eyes off guard. Also opened up the run for Watson. He'll need to carry the ball at least 10+ more times a game for us to improve. Looking forward to SC State! Go Tigers!!!

Good question. Maybe the staff truly believes they're so much more talented they don't need to get creative against teams like Troy that they aren't willing to give opponents good tape?

The bigger question is does MacLain have any eligibility left? We are hurting at guard

Agreed, other than all the drop passes, the o-line is the biggest disappointment so far. Watson is gonna have to plan on rolling out more often against better teams. He has no time.

There's a long way to go yet, but if they played right now, we'd get railed by Louisville and Florida State.

They look like a team that's trying to do what everyone told them they'd do all summer long, and because they lost the championship game, they're pressing even more to get over the hump.
