I don't care if we are playing the Golden State Warriors in Oakland
2 points in roughly 15 minutes
23-16 turned to 45-27.
Folks, that is a 4-29 run
That's not bad. That's downright abysmal.
I love this team and how they've played up until this point. But I get the feeling the Grantham injury coupled with this loss may have taken the wind out of our sails.
Really hope the guys are able to scratch and claw their way to a bid this year. I know they can do it but it's gonna take everything we have as a fanbase and program to finish this season the way we can.
Let's go tigers. I believe!

Come on...so far this season, the team has been running very smooth and playing very well, like a well oiled new car. Well, the transmission lost a gear and it needed to be replaced. Some times, when this happens, there is a short break-in period while the new gear needs to mesh with the other older gears. Some of the on court chemistry has been lost without Grantham out there. The new gear, Simms, has been installed. There is going to be a break-in period while he and the rest of the guys get comfortable with the new gear. Don't forget that Simms is just a freshman. He is going to be a power on this team, BUT, he IS a FRESHMAN. He's not going to start out with a 14 pt per game average that Grantham had. He had a really nice first half. He needs to learn how to stretch that out to 30 minutes, or more. That will come.

There were a bunch of turnovers and a bunch of open shots that were missed.
That includes several 3 pointers that rimmed out.
UVa made open shots. We missed open shots.

here is an idea. lets wait till after at least saturday when they have had a few practices without donte and are not playing uva at their place before you #### on the season.

I'm guessing you just read the first few lines and went straight to reply.
I support this team fully and I believe we can get the job done and get a bid in the tournament.
However, UVA exposed us last night. Badly. You're foolish if you don't think every game from this point out won't be a dogfight with our now largely inexperienced depth. There are no gimmes left and arguably our best player is now out.
Time to see what we're really made of.
