This recording has always seemed distorted to me. Impressive nonetheless, but I doubt it sounds the same on the ears IRL. I was at the BC game in '07 when the apparent record was set and don't remember it sounding like this.

That is not realistic. It's a distorted microphone recorder. I know you all are hanging your hats on this thing but let's get real. The volume will be loud no doubt but it will sound nothing like that you tube video attempt at comparing what you hear on TV with the field version.
