his program was beating Kan and KState 70-0, rather than talk about how his team just got manhandled by superior competition. The Spurrier of his day, just more snippy and less pouty.

Bary Schwitzer is not fit to carry Dabo Swinney's jockey strap... after the game.
He has always been a low-class act. I will always remember him saying in 1988 that he and his team felt like it was "beneath them" to play Clemson in that bowl game. Well, Barry, I hope you enjoyed it... it was your last college game! A fitting end... you lost!

Best I recall, we stomped a mud hole in their arses and walked it dry afterwards. It was an epic beat down, kind of like last year.

3 plays I remember distinctly
1. OK on like the 3yd line, a hole as big a truck opens up, and instead of QB Holliway handing off to FB Bettis for a walk in touchdown, he drops back to pass, and takes a 10+ yard loss. Got a FG I think.
2. OK (a run, run, and run some more team) switched midway through the 4th quarter and unleashed the equivalent of a spread offense. Our sideline looked like someone had hit a hornets nest with a baseball bat people so many coaches were running around trying to figure out what was going on.
3.batted down pass on last play in the endzone to preserve the win.

The beat down was the part about how brash Switzer was as DF had been complimentary of their program and of their history, saying we hoped that one day we could achieve that kind of success and reputation. To that Switzer said, and I paraphrase, that Clemson would never be as good as nor have the great tradition of winning that OU has. He was a total ####. We then went out and systematically met their every challenge, and oh by the way, we did the same thing last year, too. I won't be surprised if we do it again this year, too.

not only did switzer make an a## out of himself,but at least one of the choklahoma players made the clever remark that ou wouldn't even recruit any of our players.towering intellect on both counts.
