My friend claimed he would have been number 1 over HJ had he stayed. I think my friend is full of it. If you look at the elite 11 rankings, Chase Brice outdid him. Also, I believe rivals had him 15 best prospect in state of Alabama. I'm sure he was a great prospect especially for coots but hasn't been consistently great on this level. Shows some flashes. I'm glad he throws up on himself against us too. Haha

He was a 4-Star type in the junior rankings. He didn’t play his senior year so there is no way to really know how he would be ranked. Generally he was perceived to be a good QB rather than a project type player.
