Seems like yesterday we were all giddy about this getting started.
I remember the year James Davis committed, Tommy brought in dump trucks full of dirt and put a backhoe on top to make recruits think it was being built already. Good times.

that time will heal the wounds caused by his perennial underachieving and people will begin to appreciate the fact that the success we are having today wouldn't have been possible without Tommy Bowden coming in and opening the eyes of the fans and administration at Clemson about how far our facilities had actually fallen during the lost decade of the 1990's. Eventually the butthurt over the games we lost that we shouldn;t will dissipate and people will begin to appreciate the job that he really did here.

AMEN brother! Great man! Just caught up a win loss situation, and he had too many losses to lesser teams. He was a Coot Killer though! Dabo... Five and you might not survive! Still respect him as a man.

Bowden will forever be tied to pulling Reggie - I pretty much stood by him up until then. When I hear the name Bowden, I am flush with the flabberghast and frustration of that moment. Every time.

Actually the slight reduction is because they reduced the number of hill tickets at about the same time. if that was the same the stadium would seat more.
