Clemson, Jackson Carman was like 96% Ohio State, etc. etc. They had me hook line a sinker this past recruiting cycle and it was all a giant waste of time in the end. I'm sure there is some validity to it but most of it seems to be BS. I gather that its mostly uniformed opinions. You'd probably get as much useful insight about these guys if Tigernet had a crystal ball segment on this site.

Most schools recruiting him at RB but we are as LB so depends what he wants to play. I think Noah Cain at IMG is our top RB candidate. Tony Elliot has been there many times to see Cain.

He plays both in HS and has said he doesn't care what he plays but with him being the #1 RB in his class I doubt we move him to LB.

Still early in the process but it would appear that we're in good shape.
“The good thing at Clemson, when I go there I really feel like I’m at home,” Crouch said. “I’m very comfortable being there. I talk to everybody frequently, so it’s good.”
I'm sure we'll press hard but so will the other usual suspects. Nonetheless it looks good for us. Here's the stuff I have on him:
RB Quavaris Crouch 6-2 220 Charlotte, NC Harding University
Rated as the top one of two backs in his class, Crouch received an offer from Clemson when he attended Junior Day (2017) and returned for 2018 elite Junior Day. He said he speaks to Tony Elliott "daily." He also returned to watch the Tigers in spring practice. “When you get an offer from Clemson, they actually commit to you, so it really means a lot.” He was also on campus in 2015 for the Wake Forest game. In addition to the Clemson offer, Crouch's offer sheet includes Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. As a sophomore, Crouch rushed for 1,224 yards and 17 touchdowns in 10 games while averaging 7.3 yards per attempt. As a freshman, Crouch was a bright light on a 1-10 team, rushing for nearly 1,000 yards.

I know you said you would release your 2019 intel package on NSD, and I appreciate your commentary on Clemson recruiting, but do you think you can give a brother a sneak peek and inform me on Zacch Pickens, 5-star DE out of TL Hanna? I thought we would've been in great shape, but recently all I've heard is pro-Coot stuff, ugh

Here's the short version of what I've got on Pickens:
DE Zacch Pickens 6-3 250 Anderson, SC TL Hanna HS
Offered by Clemson on March 1st, 2016 to go with offers from FSU, UGA, Michigan, UNC, Penn State and others. FSU and Clemson have long been thought to lead for his services. Visited Clemson for spring practice and returned for the CU vs. Auburn game and the CU vs. BC game. Was also at Dabo Swinney Camp in 2016 with his mother and his coach. As a freshman, Pickens had 98 tackles, seven tackles for loss, six sacks and two pass breakups.

Technically Shaq Smith was our last highly rated one. Owen Pappoe would be the big name in this class and he appears to be a fantastic LBer. We're in his latest Top 3 although he did state that Tenn was back in it now.
The article:
Five-star outside linebacker Owen Pappoe reportedly has a top two of Clemson and Florida State, but has said that Alabama is “gaining ground” on them. He then dropped a top three list of Georgia, Nebraska and Clemson. However, now he’s telling 247Sports that the Volunteers are getting back in the mix.
“They’re back in it now,” Pappoe said. “I’m going to be paying close attention to them to see what they’re doing.”
Pappoe is giving the Vols another chance now that the staff is different under Jeremy Pruitt and will likely be pursuing him pretty hard. He detailed what his recruitment was like under the previous staff.
“I didn’t really have communication with the coaches,” said Pappoe. “It just fell off.”
The 6-foot, 211-pound Georgia native is the top outside linebacker in the class of 2019 as well as the No. 2 recruit in the state and the No. 5 overall recruit in the class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He also has offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State among others.
