I think Simmons would be one of the few guys

who I would not allow to return.

Been with the program for 4 years and cannot improve his stock anymore. Likely a top 5-10 pick.

How would you not let him back if he wanted to return?***

I think the intention of the OP is that Dabo will lay his own personal agenda aside to do what is best for his player, even if that player doesn’t want to. Us parents do it all the time with our children. We all know Simmons is physically and mentally prepared for the NFL and appears to be all but guaranteed life changing money. If he were remotely considering coming back, Dabo might have to kick him out of he nest to learn to fly.

I honestly was feeling the same way about Chase Brice. If I were Dabo I would have been telling him to transfer. Not because he wasn’t a good enough player or the right type of person for us, but because he is wasting his talents on the sideline. It does Clemson or Dabo no good to say that, but it does for the player and that’s what matters most

If you were Dabo swinney

And I was Dan radakovich. You don't let ISAIAH FREAKIN SIMMONS come back when he wants to, I ask if you've lost your mind

I just think sometimes you have to put aside your personal agenda

And help the young person make the best decision.

Simmons should go pro right now. He has graduated and has done enough at Clemson.

Not renew the scholarship of the Butkus Award winner. Now that's a novel concept.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You’re trying to say that he needs to go to the NFL.

Jan 18, 2020, 9:39 AM

Why didn’t you just say that. You phrased that in the worst possible way.

There's something in these hills.

We could really use him. He should go, but I hope he returns. That would be a game changer.

Would u let him transfer to another school***

Moronic statement right there.....Go Tigers!!!!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No. Simmons has done enough for Clemson and graduated.

Jan 18, 2020, 12:49 PM

Obviously it would be incredible if he came back, but there's just no logic for it.

He is a sure fire top 5-10 pick. He's one of the rare ones I would encourage to go to the NFL.

Similar to Ferrell last year. Ferrell had another year. Most people forget this. But there was no reason Ferrell should have come back.

No way Cle goes anywhere near #4 if he didn't come back. I've heard all the talk about unfinished business, but I thought it was widely known he didn't grade as high as expected which was the primary reason he came back.

Same thing actually applies to Christian and Big Dex.
