For the tournament last November they had a ton of this stuff left over. They offered it up to any volunteer who wanted a box for free, all you had to do was drive over there and pick it up. So I did. We ate everything but the BBQ, threw it in the freezer and it is still in there.

We used to hand out fliers for my parents church outside the entrance to the Masters. I was given food by people leaving a few times. I really didn't think the food was anything special. There's a reason the sandwiches are so cheap.

I'm Chad, but I'm guessing you knew that already. Did we go to church together? That was pretty much my parents thing. I've taken another path that doesn't exactly fall in line with their beliefs.

Hey Chad, let's just test your "Rock Defender" status.

I think the Rock might be one of the worst actors in modern pop culture, and believe that he only gets work because he's graded on an insanely generous meathead acting ability curve.

I don't think that is the Rock I'm supposed to be defending but I'll play along. I'm not a fan of his acting but am a HUGE fan of his wrestling. I got fired from a job for skipping work to watch him wrestle in Atlanta in 2002. His loss to Chris Jericho that night stung almost as bad as the Tigers loss to the Suckeyes this year.

It was the WWF Royal Rumble which was a pretty big deal. Half of the reason I had that terrible job to begin with was to afford the tickets. It probably sounds worse than it was. It's not like I was a manager at Walmart or something. It was a crapppy job.

I'd pay $150 for that food and feel better about it than $160 for two tiny orange Swiss Army knives.
