Had C. Morris coached Tebow, would he be a starting NFL QB?

It appears Urban Meyer did absolutely nothing to help Tebow improve his mechanics and ability to read defenses. He was basically a fullback playing quarterback during his time at Florida.

Given the dramatic improvements Boyd has made in 2 short years, could Morris have done something similar with Tebow?

holding him back...great kid but just not up to NFL standards. In high school and Florida he was able to dominate because his athletic ability was so much higher than his opponent. Now he doesn't have that advantage any longer and his limitations are shining bright.

Yep. Boyd's issues were more footwork oriented.

He's extremely accurate. Not sure that Tebow has the potential to be as accurate as Boyd, but he certainly could have improved more in college than he did.

Morris does seem to be a better quarterback coach than Meyer though.

he might have been better but still not a starting qb

in the nfl ever....if you watch an NFL game vs a college game the difference in speed is incredible. The NFL talks about windows to throw through to complete a pass. In college you are able to throw through an entire window to complete a pass....in the NFL it's a single pane of glass size....he's never going to be that accurate.

Yeah i'm sure he's pissed at Meyer about the 2 national championships and heisman trophy! He threw the ball well at Florida and he was brought in to run the offense meyer had at utah. He also got drafted in the 1st round. I think the better question is can Morris do with Tajh what Meyer did with Tebow. We already know the answer to one of those parts is no.
