Back-to-back doubles by Chase Pinder and Reed Rohlman give Clemson an early 1-0 lead. Rohlman just missed is fourth home run of the season.

CofC's Logan McRae led off the inning with a double, advanced on a single by Erven Roper and scored on a wild pitch. 2-1 Clemson with nobody out for the Cougars in the top of the second.
