We did this in HS for a PE test. I threw it 55 yds .
Our teams QB only threw it 48 .

I still got that memory .

TL is a great player , gonna be fun watching him play for the Tigers .

... distance is great and all, but how many times do you want to see a WR open 73 yards down field and have the pass go 77 yards?

Frankly, all this "Punt, Pass, & Kick" competition stuff at these events is sort of BS to me.

Not much is done that actually demonstrates what a player will be capable of in a big game when the chips are down and he needs to make a play.

In reality the QB is going to be 7 to 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage plus add the yardage of throwing to sidelines and it is probably pretty common to be able to need to throw 60+ yards in a straight line.

My only issue is that Trevor Lawrence "came in 3rd" in the competition and any time he fails to "win" one of these little events fans can act as if he's not as good as billed. I'm just saying that throwing 73 yards or 77 yards is immaterial unless you hit the receiver in stride. Having a strong arm is important, but touch and accuracy are just as important.
