Oh HECK NO! Now they've started down a bad road You don't want to be carrying a tuba on your back while scaling the upper levels of our Upper Decks. Sherpa's wont even go up there. I'm sure Clemson would love to recoup the value of their lower level seats

Look real close and it appears that the upper deck starts where the first portals are located about 20 rows from the field.

I mean so much so that they put them down 100 - 0 and then they can cry "foul" all they want while we explain that we wanted to ensure the band could play long enough for an echo to come down to the field.

My daughter plays in the Tiger Band and just texted me. Not only did VT put our band in the upper section, they didn't reserve the number of seats the band requested. They had to separate the Tiger Band. We didn't even bring the full band. I am not at the game, but I hope those that are cheer extra loud. Go Tigers!

Clemson should do the same rather than giving prime West End Zone seats to the opposing band. GT band is the worst, give them hundreds of great seats so they can annoy all of us. Truthfully, couldn't care less if visiting bands even made the trip.

VT in DV 7 years from now, that "is" the reason they done this thinking all "would be forgotten" by the time they make it back to DV. Personally, I hope that someone remembers, plus have it to where all tickets sold to VT fans will be the absolutely worst seats that any fan could possibly experience in DV. What they have done here, is to deliver the cheapest shot against our band as they could deliver!!! Big time IPTAY members, make sure this is paid back in full plus, when that trash returns to DV!!!

College Band Directors ational Association
Athletic Band Task Force
In consideration of good sportsmanship, visiting bands should be allowed to perform at
pre-game or half-time as agreed upon with the home band director. Refusal to allow
visiting bands unnecessarily sets up an adversarial relationship that is not in keeping with
the good sportsmanship promoted by universities and conferences. Homecoming
performances shall be open for negotiation. Seating with field access and proximity to
visiting fans and a buffer from home fans is critical.

In our upper decks they'll have to go down the ramps, around the stadium, and enter from the west endzone for their halftime show. Hope they make it down in time, since they'll be competing with the fans for the aisles running for concessions at halftime

Tiger band had plenty of room to stretch out about the third quarter. Defeat is the best revenge. VT will be invited to our new parking lot band section at Death Valley next time with a garden hose hooked up to the lake for refreshment.
