Canyon NP's?
We're going next weekend cuz I hate Cali for Spring Break. Couple of nights in Turlok and a couple of nights in Tahoe (I plan to make millions in Reno playing the slots).
Any Pro Tips?

It was fun, not too crowded b/c govt shutdown, just enough snow.
Pro Tips? Not really.

I have been to Yosemite many times since I was a kid and Sequoia just once. I have no pro tips on either, but they are both awesome. I did a 3 day hike up at Yosemite which was cool, but I have also stayed at the nice lodge in the valley there. Just go to them and wing it. It's well worth it. Yosemite is my favorite place in the US, as long as the crowds aren't too bad

As far as Yosemite, yeah you probably won't do much hiking and camping up at the upper rim. I bet there will be a bunch of snow up there. Those switchbacks are kind of rough getting up there too.

Beautiful in the spring. Be prepared for deep snow on the ground in the upper elevations.
We were UDP tent camping. Some of the campgrounds were just opening up for the year. I hear campsites are pretty hard to come by these days.

None of them hold a candle to Glacier and Yellowstone.

Went up Going to Sun Road on July 4th. Dang if wasn't snowing when we hit Logan Pass. Mountain goats were hanging around waiting for a candy bar or something. Maybe bumming a little bud from the Colorado tourists. Definitely a spectacular place for a Low Country boy.

YOU MUST DRIVE UP TO GLACIER POINT. You will converse with God and everything will make sense...
