Should it bother us when some players who had fine high school careers and had tremendous potential to actually star for Clemson ... stay for only three years and never live up to that potential ... then bolt for the NFL early, where they're once again hoping to trade on their potential rather than their actual production ?? Should this bother us or not ??

if I were in their shoes I'd probably do the same thing. It means we've been doing a good job of recruiting and / or developing them, hence 2 straight 11 win seasons. I feel like we have people in place to step in without missing a beat with the exception of Sammy.

With such a small graduating class this year, a few leaving early gives us a chance to get 4-5 more in this year(believe me ,Dabo and crew have this covered) and avoid the great BIG hit next year. Helps in the long run, we have the depth.

First couple I can remember leaving under questionable circumstances. I hate that it's happening but it happens to every team. I think these are two special family cases more than clemson specific. Players have said they were ready to leave scar in these cases. Like breeland it is a decision made for others not for himself.
