I am just glad he survived the season. He takes lots of tough hits due to a poor OL. What he does is amazing

With NFL rules, it's hard to turn down money from your own team. Watson signed a better contract with more cash flow than Mahomes, limited his deal to 4 years, and set himself up for massive payoff in 4 years with any team at 28-29 years old.
