on a good day with the traffic moving, we're only 30 minutes up 400.

in less than 45 minutes. and that was mostly early morning weekends to go play golf.

I was in Brookhaven - Ashford Park

I love me some Forsyth county. I like to think I'm in a very similar spot, just about 10 - 15 years behind which is great.

when you approach the first stop light you've got another 30 minutes to ANYWHERE from there. Especially with the lane narrowing due to construction going on right now.

There are only 3 reasons to make it all the way to the first light on 400.

You have folks from out of town visiting and you want to take them to the outlet mall to hide from them
You TURN at that light to go to church.
You haven't found friends with a house on lake lanier further south.

You are headed to that sweet sweet oasis known as Lanierland park to watch sports on turf.

BTW, did you know there is I think more artificial turf at that one park than there is in ALL OF GREENVILLE COUNTY (colleges included)? If not more, it's equal to that in Greenville county.
