Why is Cain never talked about as a candidate to return kickoffs? He's got all the tools(fast, explosive, elusive, athletic). It would be another opportunity to get the ball in his hands in open space. Nothing against Fuller, but Cain is on a different level in every category.

I had not thought of it before now , but a reasonable person might wonder .

I would assume this staff would have already considered it and for whatever reasons decided against it .

I think CJ Fuller averaged over 20 yds . per last year which ain't too bad and then there's Tay and Ray Ray .

he won fastest man at The Opening 2 years ago. Maybe he's just more straight line speed without the lateral quickness or vision to do it, but he plays CB, so I don't see that. Maybe he plays on D because he's not great at catching? He's got to be one of the fastest guys on the team along with Cain though now. I heard Peake was the fastest guy last year, but he never returned a punt that I remember.
Scott was really close on 3 or 4 last year, but do we risk him? Read that Renfrow was working on it, but he's become an integral part of the WR rotation as well. He's got great overall quicks.
It's a good problem to have I guess, but with our athletes we should return 5+ punts next year....more importantly, we don't give up any either!
