This has been asked recently I'm sure. I haven't been able to find anything recent though. Any info or rumors? My understanding is that he's in class, and that's all I know.

He's back with the team and won something at the awards banquet. I don't believe he's been fully reinstated but he just needs to keep his head on straight. CDS wants him to succeed.

trying to remember....
how many games did Sammy Watkins miss for his run in, wasn't it 2 games?
His couldn't be any bigger than the ones Deon missed.

But the first game was the opener against Auburn and that's a pretty big game. Not like Deon's, but it's no walk in the park either.

I'm sure Deon will be back and better than ever in 2016. Dabo will probably give him some grief, rightfully so, but like he's said many times about our players: "I don't always like you, but I love you," and he wants every member of that team to succeed.

Point 4.
"4. Speaking of getting the "right guys", Deon Cain is a great guy, and someone who Clemson really wants to have around not only due to his skill, but due to his character. Yea, he's made some mistakes, but that's part of the growing pains for some of these players. Sometimes there are speed bumps and if we're going to be a family, then we need to allow guys to mess up from time to time. Coach Turnipseed said there have been people on the team who weren't exactly great guys, but Deon certainly is not one of them. He couldn't stress enough how highly he thought of Deon. He simply needs to get himself together a bit, and if he does so, he'll be with the team for as long he wants.

It can be easy to forget these are 18-year-old or 19-year-old boys away from home for the first time. He's gonna be just fine.
