It's actually stealing something $2000 or less. I don't know where those inbeds on that site got the $50 figure from. A few probably got caught stealing a carton of cigarettes and figure that's the limit.

and he told me Blackshear was strongly disliked by a number of his own teammates.
He also mentioned that he had been accused of stealing a ring from another student's car. I don't think this is related, but regardless, we didn't pursue him for a reason.

That would still be a huge amount for me. With his past history in high school and this event, I would cut the kid loose and tell him to look for another school. No way I would trust him with the other players and students or let him step foot on campus.
