Concerning recruiting, I have honestly been a little more stressed this year as I have followed it more closely. I have been a little disappointed at some de-committments and even more so at the hatred some media have blatantly shown to us. Ultimately I know deep down that Coach Swinney & Co. have done all they can do to win these guys the right way. In the end our class will shine and garner a lot of attention...I am proud of what Dabo and our coaching staff are doing for Clemson University on and off the field and we are soon to reap the rewards of their hard and dignified labor. Thank you Coach Swinney & Co.!!!!

A long time ago, I cared a bit what spin the popular media put on sports, politics, and religion. Then I remembered who wrote for my high school newspaper and that made me feel better. Later I came to understand that nearly everyone knows the media spins everything left, right, sidewise and up and down.

Jim Rome? Cornpone? The AJC? Rivals? ESPN? You care?

Relax about the media. If you can't relax, turn the radio and TV off and put down the sports section of your paper.

Yaknow, the media will have spoken and written a gazillion words about the game before kickoff today. Do yourself a favor and turn those guys off too.

That's my take. Works for me.
