Burrow puts a lot of air under the ball

That avoids sacks and allows his receivers to adjust to it.

However, when Clemson DBs practice against Trevor's laser throws, they will find at least 1, probably 2 soft tosses they can pick off.

I know Burrow "only" does it when he doesn't see a high safety, but I think our guys will successfully bait him.

LSU'S uptempo pace will make it harder. Not sure if BV will be able to switch defenses between plays. You can't play disguise defenses for a whole possession. You have to reveal sometime.

Watch their game against OU. There sure seemed to be some "floaters" our guys could likely get to...

No, we admit that Burrow is a sharp cookie. Even our old QB, Kelly Bryant, could read defenses enough to know when their was no high safety. Burrow usually only soft tosses into empty space.

But BV rolls out defensive combos that no college QB has ever seen before. There will be at least once when a safety is lurking where Burrow doesn't expect.

I'm also sure BV will find ways to change defenses in spite of tempo. Maybe not every play, but sometimes. He cannot afford to stay in the same defense while Burrow runs plays against an exposed defense. That is too big of an advantage.
