Multiple reports are saying the O31O Bucknuts are having issues with Covid again. Seems at least one offensive player (reported to be a star wide receiver) and several other players have tested positive. Nothing reported as yet on contact tracing results and how many is out. It's reported by the Big 10 if neither team can play, the game will be canceled. Thus no chance O31O makes the playoffs.

Cryin Ryan Day will play this game regardless. He’ll also lobby to change the 21-day rule. Pathetic coach on a pathetic team in a pathetic conference.
Also, according to 11worriers, the WR coach is also out.

IMHO they will play even if half of the team is out. The would have nothing to lose at this point plus they would probably win any way.

No doubt in my mind they've been lying the whole time. As many that tested positive before and coincidently day et al and yet certain "players" were never out to contract tracing. Yeah right.
They'll really cry if NW beats them but not a chance because NW would struggle to score on the coots. Thought they'd move up but as long as Indiana is propped up, they can give O41o a pass.

is not a requirement for making the CFP, for OcryO State the issue is establishing they have played enough games against quality opponents to support or justify that they are, in fact, one of the top four teams in the nation.
Having only played five games against one opponent with a winning record, there is no way IMO to reasonably and objectively arrive at that conclusion.

Well said. Agree totally, however using that same argument, you have to say aTm should not be ranked 5. B1G is way down this year.
7-1 - got smoked by a young Bama team or the beatdown would have been worse. The game was all but lost to Fla... aTm wanted no part of playing ole miss. So, imho, they are more overranked as o41o. I've watched every game and they're not a complete team.
Point being, imo, you have 3 great teams this year and after Bama Clemson, ND, pick a team... Because win lose or draw, I'd take those 3 against any team in America. Sad the committee won't look at it that way.
