Is he insinuating they need to go to private shooting coaches like quarterbacks do? Didn’t listen to it so not judging but I sure hope not. Not a good look.

Also talked about not getting much time to practice. Does he think he is the only coach who has the same in balanced schedule? Other teams are playing every three or four days too...

He was asked how can he get guys go from one bad shot or play and go to the next one putting it behind them and still have confidence. His answer was —“yeah, there are people that do that for a living”

IMO he does need to hire a shooting coach on a contract basis to work with the team pre-season and a couple of times during the season. The current staff isn't getting it done as that part of the game.

I am totally confused too. He says we play too many games close together, the other teams have time between games to prepare for us, yet we had a break due to covid and that threw us off... Because we needed practice and games to get us back in a groove. So which one is it? Too much time off or not enough time off.
I'd say that's a long way around stating I'll circle back and get back to you.
I know everyone wants to say we got our mojo back with Louisville win but we didn't. It was unscheduled game so prep was slim to none. Both teams stunk it up. Nothing our D did. They had open shots and threw bricks too. So it's not like all of a sudden we had a good game.
Same with Bama, both teams shot cold and we were able to upset them. Our offense stinks period. We win on nights when other teams have a cold shooting night. Review our games. Easy to say our D was great, but if you look at the film, those said teams had good looks at the basket... It happens.
I, like others, really like CBB and he graduates kids, got players that represent well. For whatever the reasons, it's just not clicking. Short of a miraculous turnaround, time to cut the cord. Give coach Amanda a chance to coach men's bball.

I just watched a heard a lot of lame excuses. We don't have time. IF you make 2.5 million a year you better make time. Says we need to coach better. Then take a pay cut as you admitted you are not earning that kind of money. I have been saying now for five years. He can't get us to the next level. Send him and DRad packing.
