That we are no longer recruiting Dax Hollifield he was supposedly told we no longer have room for a linebacker in this class.

He used to list himself on Twitter as DE/OLB,now he just lists as Clemson Athlete.


Could also mean the staff thinks that they have Crouch and a few others locked up for next year.

season,where he wouldn't have to take 4 this year,someone could be/might be moving to the position,that'll still be around next year.

Probably not. A 6'6" 240 lb kid with that frame will not stay at linebacker long. If we played a 3-4 maybe, but he will be 265 lbs in the blink of an eye. He's a DE all the way, I think. We probably just didn't expect to get Ferrell, Bryant, and Wilkins all back and had to tighten up the recruiting purse strings a bit.

Tre Lamar is 6'4" 250 lbs, so KJ could definitely work in as a linebacker at least this year.
