Being repped by HBO's show "The Newsroom" :)

Actor, Terry Crews, was introduced to the show as new bodyguard to Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels). McAvoy asks Crew's character if he played ball. Crews replies that he played his college ball at Clemson.
Just thought it was a cool shout-out by the show's writers.
Awesome show BTW.

Yeah, its awesome, but pretty liberal. The part where macavoy flips out when the date he brings home has a gun in her purse is hilarious. What a pansy. The weed he was looking for was ok, the gun in a woman's purse that walks home alone every night, crazy. Hahaha whatever

As McAvoy: First of all, I'm a registered Republican; I only seem liberal because I believe that hurricanes are caused by high barometric pressure and not gay marriage.

So just because something isn't allowed in a city means you should act scared to death of it like a girl? He didn't seem to be too afraid of the weed he was looking for in her purse. That's allowed in the city? Haha, uh, BURN.

I believe there have been Clemson mentions on all of his shows. Sports Night and Studio 60 for sure.

I seem to remember a mention in West Wing as well - testing my memory, but I believe it was a policy discussion involving funding a research project at Clemson.
I'd love to know his reason for constantly giving us shout outs. Come on down to a ball game this fall, Aaron. I'll have a cold one for ya...

I believe Clemson was mentioned twice in the west wing. I believe he had a guy working in the white house that played some sport at Clemson as well.

I think the one yorue referring to is the duke basketball players when they were playin pick up basketball with the prez.
I dont remember any specific clemson sports refs in the west wing but def in sports nite.
sorkin seems to like Clemson and i guess ACC schools...Translation: SORKIN LIKES ACC AND CLEMSON THEREFORE NUMBER ONE REASON NOT TO GO TO BIG 12. haha
