ATL Rant

Mar 25, 2021, 5:55 PM

for those living in the ATL, we need more tornadoes to support all the 1000s of hours of tornado fear! I've been here 20+ years, we've had, maybe 4 F minus 2 tornadoes. STORMTRACKER takes over all the networks and explains how this COULD be a funnel or this COULD be a funnel and then...nothing.

When a real tornado comes, everyone is too fatigued from fake tornadoes to care.

Just tornado me already!

just sayin'

Sorry for those who have to stay in Atlanta. Lived there six years and never want to go back. It has become an unfriendly place that I will not spend my money in. The local police are pitiful and do not trust them. What used to be an amazing dinning experience has turned into a stressful and dangerous possiblity. Keep me out of Georgia and North Carolina, because Charlotte is not much better.

Atlanta is a cesspool of violence. That is why the outskirts have grown so. Nobody wants to live there. Their elected or stolen officials are responsible for that.

Lazy take. The city and Atlanta metro are both growing rapidly. People and private investments are pouring into the city. It’s a fantastic time to live in town.

my first year at ft jackson('72-'73) i lived on base in an apartment at the brand new bachelor officers quarters-at the end of the hall on the 6th floor right next to the exit door and stairs.one night about this time of year a tornado was reported on the other side of columbia.thought nothing about it and went to bed.was woken suddenly and rudely by a very large crash.fearing the worst i ran out into the hallway expecting to be confronted by the tornado.but it was only a very strong wind burst that blew open and crashed the exit door against the wall.thankfully no harm done and went back to sleep.a year or 2 later a tornado did touch down not too far from our apt. in foxcroft east.both my wife and i were at work and not in any danger.years later in the early 90's i literally crossed paths with a small twister in way upstate ny,but that's another story for another time.

Will give you a Memory of respecting Mother Nature. It tore this town up! A lot of damage.

Remember when they cut off the masters for like 30 minutes because there was a thunderstorm somewhere? Yes, the local news is ridiculous with this stuff.
