Anyone notice UGA's poor showing for AWAY games?

Last year they won 3 of 4 AWAY games, but against 5-7 Mizzou, 2-10 UK, and 3-9 Auburn. They got blown out by USUC. So - it does NOT look all that great for UGA playing in OUR HOUSE. We are much better than any of those 3 teams they beat on the road. They even struggled for most of the game vs. Nebraska in the bowl game.
I guess I have to call it now - CLEMSON WINS!! 51-24.
I love it. It's about time I figured out who is going to win this one. Richt's seat gets HOT!!

Murray normally doesn't play well on the road

and he's coming to a night game in DV with a young and injured defense. Their offense is their only saves grace right now and I trust Venables to have the front 7 needed to at least limit Gurshall. I say stack the box and put it all in Murray's hand. History says he'll screw up more times then he'll save the day.

Reality check:
Jawja will be bringing a very good team into Death Valley. A superb quarterback, a beastly O line, killer running backs and a decent coach.
My prediction: Clemson 37 Jawja 28 in a hard fought game.
The difference will be the home crowd, Martavis Bryant, and Travis Blanks being a defensive stud.
This will be a GOOD GAME, but neither team will win in a blowout.

They didn't against USuCk, UF, UK, Old Mrs. or Auburn last year. You think they come to The Valley that much better than they were last year?
I don't. I'll be disappointed in our D if we give up 30.

thus they may rely heavily on their run game and the strength of our team is the front 7. Venables has been very happy with the depth and talent he has up front and while we have questions at consistent DE pressure our DTs are a year older, stronger and more experienced

Call me snakebit but our defense was not very good last year at all and pretty much downright atrocious. Giving up over 600 yards in a couple games. Giving up 40 mins of possession to the chickens. Making BC look like national champ caliber offense. Pathetic.
UGA is the best offense we will have faced all of last year and all of this year. I havent seen where their WR are banged up. Their WR and TE are excellent, they have such a balanced offense. If they were one dimensional I wouldnt be as concerned.

For the longest time, I have felt like CLEMSON has to score 50+ to win this game. But looking at UGA's AWAY games, they never really score all that much in their AWAY games, even against weak teams. We can probably score 35-40 and win it. I think we will definitely score 35-40 points. We might do that in the first half. Maybe.
