Anybody think we will see much of Yeargin this year?

We haven't seen much about him since he enrolled. Does he land a #2 spot? Does he compete with Ebo? He has so much potential I don't have much doubt he will eventually be making a name like Beasley and Lawson.

Yeargin is making progress

I heard he's been hitting the weights pretty hard. They were raving about his efforts. Great to see a young guy come in and work hard. Cause hard work pays off. We've had plenty of folks come in and need some fine tuning in the weight room in addition to bulking up. There are so many examples.

Personally, I hope he has a breakthrough year. Guess I'm a fan of the underdog role. Love to see somebody work their tail off and make it big time.

They haven't moved Chris from LB to DE so the coaches must feel good about yeargin

From what I understand, Ebo is good enough that he could have gotten significant playing time this year. There just weren't enough snaps to go around so I don't see him competing for a starting spot. There's definitely playing time up for grabs though, and outside of Lawson at one DE spot, I think the other three DL spots are pretty wide open.

Yeargin does have that long armed slender body type like Beasley and I could see him developing into a similar pass rusher.

at the very least, on special teams. But with so many positions up for grabs, I think all these guys will be hungry and competing for jobs this spring. Can't wait.

And if I remember from that time his vid clips showed equal acceleration like Vic. Hopefully that only gets better as he develops.
