2020 Recruiting

I have read estimations on Tigernet that the Tigers can recruit somewhere between 18 to 25 players. If we can recruit 25, what could be our ideal recruiting class? One possibility could be (players 247 and Rivals ratings in parenthesis):
Offense
QB DJ Uiagalelei (7, 1) (one)
WR Fleming (5, 15); Jarrett (27, 13); EJ Williams (216, 103) (take any two)
RB Evans (2, 2); Lloyd (23, 19); Bowman (33, 31); Knighton (111, 132) (take any two) OL Tucker (68, 175); Mayes (89,140); Tchio - Commit (150, 200); Williams – Commit (320, 219); Parks – Commit (331, NA) (the three commits plus one more - take a total of four) TE Gilbert (8, 9) (take one)
Defense
DT: Capehart – commit (49, 95); Tre Williams - commit (96, 162); Tim Smith (138, 190); Brevard (157, 196) (the two commits plus one more - take a total of three)
OLB: Smalls (4, 6); Sherman (15, 18); Swint – commit (194, 166); Webb (205; 139) (the one commit plus one more (take a total of two) ILB: Sampah (21, 10); Allen – commit (136, 179) (take two) DE: Bresee (1, 5); Braswell (19; 47); Burch (22, 32); Cowan (51, 120); Murphy (??, 174) (take any three) S: Mickens (38, 37); Thompson (105, ??); Snow (121, 118); Morant (148, ??) (take any two)
CB: Fred Davis (29, 21); Gray (48, 72); Hill (63, 73); Lawerence (73, 101); Greene (228 , ??) (take any three)
I am sure that there are a few more that we have offered, or will offer, that are not on the list.
Several questions for everyone and especially the Tigernet recruiting gurus: 1) can we recruit 25 in 2020 or will it be a smaller class? 2) the way I have it, the class will have 10 players on offense and 15 on defense - is this reasonable? 3) what do you think will be the distribution of the final class; in terms of number of players on offense/defense/position? 4) what would be your ideal class if you could pick anyone in the list? 5) Who are the must-have players besides DJ and Bresee?
No matter what, it should be a great class!

Adding Mickens and Sampah would be great as it would shore up our defense at all three levels. Hope we can get them!

Give me Bresee and DJ and I would LOVE a very high rated RB. I know we coach them up and I love this S.C. kid that committed yesterday. But like a new shiny toy at Christmas, I greedily (new word?) want a 5 star stud that is turnkey ready for when ETN leaves. Ealy, this cycle could be that guy but throw us one for 2020 as well.
And as always, keep the OLine talent rolling in. Got to block somebody......all 15 games.

We need five on the OL, I think Swint moves to Mike, Safety will depend on Powell, perhaps another WR given several will move on early.
It will be a phenomenal class regardless but would be great to land a few of these elite players we are clearly a top options for.
We could do 25 if Dabo doesn’t give out some walk-one schollies and we keep our K/P to no more than three.

1. Id say 21-22 takes 2. About 50/50 ofennse vs defense (10-12) 3. Take 5 OL and only 1 RB 4. TE will be Ungar. Not aure Gilberts viait went well at Junior Day (our side) 5. I think DT sticks at our current 2 so we can go 3 on DE due to talent. Plus if we land Breese he can be a Wilkins. 6. Heres my ideal:
QB- DJ = 1 OL- 3 OL, Mayes and Tucker = 5 RB- Knighton or evans = 1 WR- Flemming and Jarrett = 2 TE- Ungar = 1 DT- Tre and Capehart = 2 DE- Breese, Burch and Cowan (Dont think we get Murphy) = 3 LB- Allen, Sampah, Swint, Sampah = 4 CB/S- Gray, Mickens, Davis = 3

Thanks 3rdGen. Your ideal class will be outstanding; we will need to be successful with some big time recruits. Let's see how it shapes up.

I like your ideal 2020 class. I think we take 22-23 next cycle. Here’s my slightly less ambitious breakdown. I only listed some of the offered prospects as targets - mainly based on current interest/visits. Feel free to update, correct, or comment on list. Thoughts on who we get?
QB (1): Target: DJ (likely)
OL (4-5): Commits: Tchio, J Williams, Parks Targets: Mayes, Tucker (I’d love to land both but think we get Mayes not Tucker)
RB (1) Targets: Bowman, Knighton, Lloyd, Bigsby (Knighton likely. We also seem to be making progress with Bowman. Bigsby trending to UofSuck (why???), not sure how we stand with Lloyd)
WR (2): Targets: Fleming, Jarrett, Lambert, E. Williams (Being WRU, think we have a shot at Fleming and Jarrett, but I don’t think we get both. Tough to call)
TE (1): Targets: Washington, Ungar (Hope we get Ungar, but he’s a Stanford lean. Think we need more prospects at TE.)
DT- (3) Commits: Capehart, Tre Williams Targets: Smith, Brevard (Bumper crop of DTs with 2 rock star commits and Clemson leading for Smith and Brevard. Think we take 3)
DE (2): Targets: Breese, Burch, Cowan and Murphy (Agree Murphy is unlikely. Hope we land Bresee and Burch!)
ILB (2): Commits: Allen Target: Sampah (likely)
OLB (2): Commits: Swint Targets: Smalls, Sherman, Mullins, Webb (Can see us getting Sherman. FWIW CB shows us and Auburn as leading for Webb).
CB (2-3): Targets: Davis, Gray, Hill, Lawrence (Hill (if possible issues? resolved) and Lawrence both likely. Think we have a real shot at Gray too. Maybe take 3?).
S (1-2): Targets: Mickens, Greene, Venables (I’m assuming we get Venables. Greene’s a VT lean but that place is a dumpster fire right now. I can see us taking 3 CBs and only 1 safety, especially since we signed 4 Safeties in 2019). Who do think is our next commitment?

Yeah, shame on Dabo for giving hard working kids scholarships.

If five OL is essential then we need to get at least one of Tucker or Mays.

What about Dumervil? I see we’ve offered. He is an OU lean, but Clemson is listed among his favorites. Haven’t heard much about him on here. Any news?
