Phil Cofer, the fine FSU hoops player, did not play

last night due to the death of his Father, Mike Cofer. Mike 9 years for the Lions after playing at Tennessee. Mike was from Knoxville. You oldtimers will remember a James Cofer, also from Knoxville who was the subject of the infamous Jim Lampley report from 1981. Does anyone know if there is a relationship here. Just wondered if James and Mike were brothers or maybe cousins...
