I am confused. Your subject says ESPN says Dynasty is over but the article says differently. Did I miss something?

I think OP’s point is that back on Jan 8 ESPN proclaimed us a dynasty and here to stay. Now, after a win at UNC, undefeated and sitting at 5, the story has clearly changed.
College football press has always seemed to put a microscope on Clemson it doesn’t for a number of other teams.
Held to a double standard.
It’s not all ‘follow the money’, either, if you ask me.

The article is from January 2019.
Tigers are 9 & 0, but not in the top 4, a decision apparently controlled by ESecPN. So, the dynasty hailed by ESecPN in January must be over.

Edited to say College Football Playoff Committee says Clemson's dynasty is over.

Little Bobby Mowins was quoted saying, "If they won't play fair and let others win, then we won't let them come to our party."

Clemson was greatest team ever. A dynasty. Have now gone 9-0 but not in Top 4.

It will all work out by year-end, but the CFP / ESPN analysts need to give more credit now. Expecting Clemson to be perfect.
