Don't know much about about what the University of Oregon is like, but the kinds of things that would attract a player to Clemson or Georgia are 180° opposite from the kinds of things that would attract a player to Miami. Seems odd to be on the same narrowed-down list.

In terms of fan base and passion for football

Oregon/Eugene is very similar to Clemson in a lot of ways. The school is larger, as is the town. Autzen is 3/4's the size of DV. If anyone ever gets the chance to see a game out there, I'd recommend it. They do get loud.

Actually Clemson's total enrollment is larger than the University of Oregon.

Per the schools' websites, total enrollment is:

Clemson 24,951

Oregon 22,980

Ouch for USC, their recruiting is in the dumps.

I really wish the PAC-12 was stronger. I would love to be playing Oregon, USC, Stanford, CAL in the CFP!

Or an annual cross country game at the beginning of the season !

Not firing Clay Helton after last season was such a bad move by USC. It was pretty obvious he is not the guy.

Oregon is cleaning their clock on the recruiting trail.

Yes they should have hired Kingsbury as a HC, not an OC, and they might not have lost him and he would be a magnet for all the offensive talent in the West.

Cristobal is also widely regarded as the dirtiest coach in the NCAA and an "SEC type recruiter". Apparently he got like 47% of the vote as dirtiest from his peers.

Find another source, rather than rely on some blind-arsed pole that likely has an agenda. That same pole painted the SEC as lily-white, by comparison. My guess is the third iteration of that polester will declare Penn State as the Phd. connection for child-care and development.
