I think the only thing that is missing is leadership.It seems like everything is going haywire at moments and no one steps up to lead.This just shows the impact of the absence of last year’s d-line is.Besides that,teams great!

I think the only thing wrong with this team is we are not playing Alabama's schedule.
Seriously, if there is an issue,it's mostly on the slow starts by the offense. By game's end, we are rolling. Would love to see a few more scoring drives in the 1st quarter.

It's the slow starts like you said. As a great philosopher once said, 90% of the game is half mental. Teams that hang around in games they shouldn't be in gain momentum, whereas the teams that should be winning big start getting antsy and pressing. If you have a huge talent advantage and you come out and put up 14-21 points in the 1st quarter, it just kills the underdog's will. They won't admit it, but it happens.

Considering at least one NFL team specifically told our draft selections they were bringing them in as leaders (to players older than themselves), I think almost any level of leadership would appear as a step down from last year. These kids are doing great; they just aren't quite at the level we had from Ferrell and the other seniors/grad students the last couple of years. The biggest issue with this team is a lot of our guys are 19, and that should work itself out over time. :)
