OK, we're contemplating a move next year back to

South Cacklacky, but are torn between choices....Upstate mountains/lake or outside of Chucktown, most like in the Wando HS district.
Older daughter of Wilbur (no pigs) is a freshman at Clemson. Younger daughter (no pigs either) is starting 5th grade.
Much may be predicated on wife of Wilbur getting a K-5 teaching job. The new Sully's Island Elementary would be ideal....Wilbur could work from anywhere, so that's not a problem.
Nothing keeping us in Virginny, where would you move?

Everyone we have met during orientation and move in day just seemed to love being a part of the University. Could prolly do that and continue the consulting gig I've started.
Just tough to decide between the mountains and the shore...

Greenville is the ideal spot. Cooler temps, all sesaons, closer to CU Football, nice downtown atmosphere, close to hiking, camping or day trips up the parkway.
Beach is just the beach when you live there. Its hot as hell and traffic is so terrible during tourist season.
I know Gville traffic is bad, but not anything like beach area traffic.
