Ok. Who we pullin' for this weekend in Wake/FSU game...

Heart says FSU. That would assure a monumental showdown with lots of chips on the table at Tally. ACC would get a little more credit. The upside if we win would be greater, for sure.
Head says WFU. I would bank on WFU slipping up a time or two more than FSU. Anytime FSU takes a loss, our chances of winning the division go up.
What say you?

I share your sentiments precisely ! I still say it would be better if we go in the game both undefeated, win the game and then take care of business the rest of the season.... depend on Clemson to TCB and not depend on other teams, nor worry about them winning or losing. But that's a perfect world. But it was something Clemson did once upon a time, and I like the measures Dabo's taking and putting into place to us becomming that Clemson again, so I say beat an undefeated FSU and everyone else on our schedule

Either way we have to beat them for the title. A Wake win would help if we have our usual ### game but I think a win over an undefeated FSU team bumps us past USUC in the standings and moves us closer to our...dare I say...ultimate goal.

1. pull for my picks in donor's den pick six and anybody ranked above Clemson in the poll
2. whoever is playing ND
3. whoever is playing SoCal
4. whoever is playing Michigan
5. whoever is playing USuCk
6. any out of conference team play the sec
7. underdog in every other game

I want them highly ranked when we beat them. They can lose a bunch later on if they want. Also if they lose and we go in favored ESPN has a field day if we should lose to FSU.

We really need FSU to win. If they lose, our game becomes a lose/lose proposition. If we win, we have simply beaten an overrated FSU that couldn't even beat Wake. If we lose, we lost to an overrated FSU team that couldn't even beat Wake.
However, if FSU beats Wake and is still ranked in the top 5/6, then a win is huge for us and a loss is mitigated by the fact that this is such a great FSU team (according to those that create the polls).

According to the pundits, if Wake wins it shows the weakness of the ACC. If Wake and FSU were both in the SEC, it would show the strength of the SEC. Don't believe ESPN (ABC) or anything the main stream media says. They have sold our country down the river.
