You never, ever pull for the shamecocks. This "I would rather have it in state, than AZ" is BS and cootish behavior. Since when did Clemson fans lose their cajones?
Anybody that says they are pulling for the cooties in any sport, are not Clemson fans.

Rule #2 is "Never pull for USC to win" which has a tiny asterisk for any situation with clear 100% absolutely definable benefit for Clemson if USC wins. Even then it's tough

There's only one situation in which that would benefit us, and it's for USC to knock off a team above us in the rankings, late in the season, that allows us to get into a posh postseason spot. This applies mostly to football--say, if an SEC team was ahead of us in the BCS/BCS playoff system and USC was the only team left to upset them. In that case, USC beating that team would directly benefit Clemson, and I would root for that win. But actually I'd be rooting more for the other team to lose than USC to win. I find it practically impossible to root *for* Carolina in anything.

well it's a South Carolina team if it can't be Clemson. If they lose, though, I'd be much happier. It's college baseball for crying out loud. Now football is different. I never, in any situation, try to justify support for the Gamecocks to win any football game. I don't care who they are playing. OK, I might pull for the Gamecocks if they were playing the Taliban. But that's it, no others instances!

Imagine a scenario where Florida, Oklahoma, and Clemson are all 10-0 going into the second to last weekend of the year. Florida is playing at South Carolina. As a Clemson fan you MUST root for South Carolina to win to help clear our path to the National Championship game.
Therefore, your statement that we must always root against South Carolina is 100% INCORRECT. You are wrong.
