the rivalry game can't be that huge because it's nullified by the eventual playoff rematch, which Clemson obviously enters undefeated... this writer needs to learn to be a better story teller... he can't even keep the continuity going in a bullet point article...

I honestly think that we saw the best Coot team we'll see for a long while with last season's Coots. Of course about 2/3 of the SEC teams being dumpster fires helps the Coots plenty.

I just looked at the Coot's schedule. Only 2 hard games on it. Leg Humpers second week of Sept and us at the end of the season. Looks like they're also counting on most of their SEC opponents to stay weak as they have in recent seasons.

The guy who wrote the linked article is daft.

When Clemson plays South Carolina in November of 2018, the game will be in Death Valley.
When Clemson plays South Carolina in 11/18, the Tiger D-Line will dominate again.
When Clemson plays South Carolina in 11/18, the Tiger QB will likely be Bryant, Johnson or Lawrence.
When Clemson plays South Carolina in 11/18, the South Carolina QB will likely be Jake Bentley who has been outscored 90-17 in the last two contests between the two teams.


At this time Calling for the Gamecocks to make it a tough game for Clemson is one heck of a reach.
