I'm sorry but this is crazy. Why would you not play your best player and make sure the game is in hand?
Lose any of these last 4 games, and you can kiss the playoff goodbye. That'd be a tough thing to swallow because you wanted to play a backup for next year.

This is not about who deserves anything. We are competing for the national title and the best players THIS YEAR need to be the best prepared. If Nick is the better back up he needs the reps.
Now if we get beat we can think about playing time.....But as long as we are in the hunt of course Nick should get snaps if we have the chance for mop up duty...
But let's go the formality of actually being needed for cleanup
