What he showed against oh st was beautiful. Being able to break tendencies and genius to know when and how to do that was impressive. If he comes up with anything close to as good a game plan against alabama we win. If the soft washington players could limit the tides offense then clemson will manhandle them. Bama has a great def but watson and company will get theirs. The great equalizer to a stout dline getting into the backfield is a mobile quarterback who can break containment and make you pay when you over pursue. That qb is watson.

Of course. The season is a culmination of all the staff and players being the best at their respective jobs. Wouldnt trade anybody on our team no matter what.

as we won't play near as much nickel and dime. Him and our safeties, both in run support and in not having the busted assignments that killed us last year

+1 for Venables but Washington is not soft. They manhandled Stanford and that is not an easy task. Granted Stanford had some injuries and McCaffery is basically their entire offense. Their WRs also dropped a few passes. Still, Stanford has produced stout offensive lines for quite a while now.

We have Swinney to thank for ushering in this brand of Clemson football and i am pro Swinney all the way. But the adjustments on defense signaled a different level for this team and program. If that keeps happening we will be talking about Clemson being the best dynasty is football
